Who I am
I earned my PhD in theoreical and computational physical chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation I dabbled in financial, working at the financial modeling team at BlackRock. Currently I'm working on building and running the Google Registry.
I have a BS in physical chemistry and a BA in economics from Peking University.
What I do
I work as a software engineer on an open source project called Nomulus. It is a cloud-based Java service that manages top-level Internet domains (TLDs). My team at Google Registry runs Nomulus to operate Google's TLD portfolio, incluing .app, .dev, and .phd, the TLD this website is hosted on.
I'm proficient in Java, Python, C++ (it's been a while, though). I've worked extensively with various services on Google Cloud Platform and am knowledgable in Kubernetes.
I also teach a class on software quality and testing to Google new hires.
